The William Chown Charitable Trust was created in 2006 by Bill Chown with the aim of helping small and local charities. He donated money to the trust to allow the interest to be invested each year in worthy causes, allowing the trust to operate for years to come without raising any money directly. We have helped numerous charities since then and hope that our small donations make a difference to charities of this size. Everyone involved in the Charity works for free as we strongly believe that charity work should be charitable.
We will endeavour to continue support charities local to the Oxford area and small national charities which have a personal meaning to our team.
The Charity is now run by Bill’s Children who are both trustees of the William Chown Charitable Trust. We hold trustees meetings 4 times a year to discuss future donations and projects. We are always on the hunt for new partners, charities to work with and new fund raising ideas that can help our local community.
